Buyer's Guide: Factory Specs For The Arctic Cat Wildcat and Arctic Cat Prowler Tire Size, Wheel Size, Wheel Offset, And Bolt Pattern

As the two main contributors to your vehicle’s unsprung weight, the size of your Arctic Cat Wildcat and Arctic Cat Prowler tires and wheels is important. But in addition to the height, width, and weight of your stock rims and tires, attributes like the offset measurement of the wheel, its bolt pattern, and the tread pattern of the tires are also important. So here is the information you need to know about the factory Arctic Cat Prowler and Arctic Cat Wildcat tires and wheels!

Arctic Cat Wildcat Factory Tire And Wheel Specs

Regarding wheel studs, the factory bolt pattern on Arctic Cat Wildcat wheels is 4x115 (also displayed as 4/115), with the lug bolts being 10mm. There are 12mm wheel stud kits you can buy and install, but the stock studs on the Wildcat are 10mm.

The wheel offsets vary from one Wildcat model to the next. A 2014 Wildcat XT, for example, has 5+2 offset wheels on both the front and back. Replace them with a set of 4+3 offset rims and you’ll get a totally different ride along with 2 inches of additional track width.

Arctic Cat Wildcat XX

The 2022 Arctic Cat Wildcat XX, Wildcat XX LTC, and Wildcat XX SE come stock with 30” SCT Behemoth tires in the front and rear that measure 10” wide and fit on 15” rims (30x10-15). As such, the stock front and rear wheels for the 2022 Arctic Cat Wildcat are 15 inches in diameter.

Arctic Cat Wildcat Sport

For the 2017-2019 Arctic Cat Wildcat Sport XT and the Wildcat Sport LTD, the stock tires are 26”, with the fronts being 26x8-12 and the rears being 26x10-12. From this measurement, you also get the size for the stock aluminum rims on the Wildcat Sport, which are 12 inches in diameter.

Arctic Cat Wildcat Trail

Even smaller than the stock Arctic Cat Wildcat Sport tires and rims are the stock Arctic Cat Wildcat Trail, Trail XT, and Trail LTD tires and rims on the 2017-2019 model years – which measure in at 25x8-10 on the front, and 25x10-12 on the rear. Because this vehicle is designed for trail riding, the rear wheels are bigger than the front wheels, which are 12” and 10” respectively. The base model Arctic Cat Wildcat Trail and the Trail XT come with steel wheels, while the LTD version comes with aluminum wheels.

Arctic Cat Wildcat X

Moving on to the 2017-2019 Wildcat X, we have 27x9-14 tires on the front, and 27x11-14 tires on the rear for both the base model and the Wildcat X LTD. But while the base model comes with Duro Powergrip tires and aluminum wheels, the LDT model comes with ITP Blackwater Evolution tires and machined cast aluminum beadlock wheels.

Arctic Cat Prowler Factory Tire And Wheel Specs

Like the Wildcat, the stock bolt pattern of the Arctic Cat Prowler is 4/115. Not all Prowlers share this bolt pattern, however, as some machines with Kymcos chassis have a lug pattern of 4/110, and the older Prowlers may have a lug pattern of 4/144. Furthermore, if you bought your machine used, it could also have aftermarket rims with a different bolt pattern. The best way to check is to simply measure it yourself! If you want to be close to the factory Arctic Cat Prowler wheel offset, a 5+2 or even a 4+3 should work. But again, measuring your exact model year will yield exact figures.

Arctic Cat Prowler 500

The Arctic Cat Prowler 500 comes with 12” steel wheels wrapped in 25x8 Maxxis tires on the front, and 25x10 Maxxis tires on the rear. On some vehicles, the stock wheels are also powder coated!

Arctic Cat Prowler EV

Textron’s EV and EV iS Arctic Cat Prowler editions come with the same size tires and wheels as the Prowler 500 – 25x8-12 in the front, and 25x10-12 in the rear. But instead of Maxxis tires, the EV and EV iS come stock with Carlisle Trail Pro tires.

Arctic Cat Prowler Pro

Each of the Arctic Cat Prowler Pro editions come with a different tire and wheel setup. The base model Pro and Pro XT both use Pro Terrain tires, with the Pro tires and wheels measuring 26x10-12 on both the front and rear as well as using steel wheels, and the Pro XT tires and wheels measuring 26x10-14 in both the front and rear with machined aluminum wheels. The Prowler Pro XT Ranch edition, on the other hand, has bigger stock tires, which are Maxxis Bighorns that size in at 27x9-14 in the front, and 27x11-14 in the rear. Where the Arctic Cat Prowler Pro Crew and Pro Crew Ranch editions are concerned, the former has the same tire and wheel setup as the Pro XT, while the latter has the same tire and wheel setup as the Pro XT Ranch Edition.
